Each year for the past 23 years, The NE Women’s Herbal Conference has brought together leading women herbalists, healers, and plant enthusiasts from throughout the country to share their wisdom of the herbs and natural healing.
Though the emphasis is on women’s health and healing, the WHC is a joyful celebration of women’s wisdom and well being. Join us for our first year at our new camp on Newfound Lake, NH. Lovely lakeside Camp Wicosuta has been a girl’s camp for over 90 years and warmly welcomes the New England Women’s Herbal Conference. The camp provides excellent facilities, indoor lodging, camping and a lovely sandy beach on the lake for swimming & canoeing.

2011 WOMEN’S HERBAL CONFERENCE TEACHERS & WORKSHOPS
The Women’s Herbal Conference features over 60 workshops for all levels of interest and experience. Workshops focus on women’s health, herbal crafts, medicine making, plant identification walks and many hands-on demonstrations. Included also is an amazing evening of women talent, a great barter faire, ceremonial mask making, the annual henna party, canoeing, and many other joyful, playful and inspiring events!

Keynotes by Dr. Tieraona Lowdog & Brooke Medicine Eagle
Dr. Tieraona Lowdog was appointed by President Clinton to the White House Commission on Complementary and Alternative Medicine Policy. Dr. Lowdog is one of the country’s leading experts on botanical medicine and integrative approaches to health. Tieraona was named by Time magazine as an “Innovator in Alternative Medicine for 2001” and was the recipient of the Martina de la Cruz Medal in 1998 for her work with indigenous people.
Brooke Medicine Eagle is a legendary Earth wisdom teacher, singer, visionary, and catalyst for wholeness. She is the best selling author of Buffalo Woman Comes Singing, and The Last Ghost Dance. For over 30 years, her teaching, writing, ceremonies, and wilderness spiritual camps have touched the hearts and minds of millions.
