Hudson Valley artist and photographer Lisa Levart is on a mission.
Goddess on Earth, her life long assignment, celebrates contemporary women while drawing upon ancient stories to elevate their life journeys. Her archetypal imagery is created through the eyes of love to inspire other women to be their most powerful selves. For over twenty years, Lisa has traveled the world creating iconic portraits that reveal the spirit of independent girls, ferocious women, powerful warrior activists and epic elders, and weaves together the personal and collective journeys of women's lives. Her work has been exhibited widely and is represented in the permanent collection of the 9/11 Memorial Museum in NYC. Projects have generously been supported by the NY State Council of the Arts and in 2015, 2018 and 2020 her work was recognized by the Julia Margaret Cameron Award's for Women Photographers. Her first book, Goddess on Earth: Portraits of the Divine Feminine, won a Gold Nautilus Book Award and was named one of the 100 Best New Women's Spirituality Books by the California Institute of Integral Studies.
In June 2021, Goddess on Earth Oracle, A Divination Deck and Guidebook With Spirited Wisdom From Your Sisters will be released.

I am Earth.
Steady, strong and as slow growing as the ancient mountains peaks.

I am Water.
As the rivers of life-blood within me; as the Mother ocean ebbs and flows with the waning and waxing of the Grandmother moon.

I am Fire.
Transforming all that is consumed into nourishment, lessons and alchemical magick.

I am Air.

Working in a wide variety of media, her extensive artillery features figurative drawing, video, performance, and handmade sculptural elements made from fabric, clay and found materials used in a ritual fashion. Many know her as Lobsta Girl, and Goyette has filmed her interspecies os detailing the sex lives of lobsters internationally. Originally, Goyette adopted the sexually aggressive female lobster as a primary character she performed live to promote female agency. Another alter ego to Goyette is the ghost of her direct ancestor, Rebecca Nurse hanged as a Salem witch, who is re-imagined cycling through repetitive power dynamics in fits and foibles in the "New World."

Kathy Crabbe has been an artist forever and a soul reader since awakening her intuitive gifts at age forty after five years painting with her non dominant left hand.
