Hello,
I do have a question for Susun that she has probably answered a million times but I have been running from pillar to post trying to find an answer for that really works.....help with my memory! I am 56, in menopause, symptoms annoying but not terrible at all but I can’t remember a damn thing! I do take nourishing herbal infusions of oatstraw, nettle, red raspberry leaf, red clover and comfrey. I have been searching for a new career path and I am lacking confidence that if I take up a new study in natural healing I won’t be successful since I am so forgetful It’s really scary!. I was taking gotu kola tincture but didn’t see much of a difference and probably didn’t take it long enough. I was raw vegan for a few years but have since become pretty much vegetarian with some meat here and there, and include some animal fat. And I eat very little processed or restaurant food, don’t drink alcohol or take any bioidentical hormones.
Can you help? Thanks so much.
Cindy
Hi Cindy,
Susun would definitely say to keep including the fats in your diet - very important for memory issues. Do you have Susun's book New Menopausal Years? She has a chapter in there for memory. You can read some of Susun's suggestions here:

Red clover helps with memory, so you might want to include a quart of infusion once a week if not doing so ... Avoid all soy products except for fermented ones such as miso and tamari. Rosemary has been used traditionally for memory. Of course, if you are stressed, it can affect memory -- so looking into meditations, visualizations, etc. that may help. I've heard Susun speak highly of using the gingko biloba tincture.
blessings,
Kim
