Hi Susun,
I am 41 years old and I would like to ask about the red clover that is recommended for women over 40 wanting to get pregnant. I have seen Red Clover leaf tea, would this be good to drink, is it the same as what you mentioned, because the website page also says that nor tea, nor tincture can help, if I read correctly?
I am in Australia so I am not sure where to find Red Clover blossoms.
Thankyou for your help.
Hello,
For fertility issues, Susun does recommend the infusions -- these are like a tea, but much stronger, infused for at least 4 hours and a much higher ratio of herb to water... 30 grams of herb to one liter of water. You can read more here: http://www.nourishingherbalinfusions.com/
It is far more economical if you can get dried herbs in bulk rather than using tea bags -- also tea bags are often of poorer quality. Red clover is used as a cover crop in Australia, so perhaps you can find a source: http://www.pasturepicker.com.au/Html/Red_clover.htm
I do see this company that looks to sell dried herb in bulk rather than tea bags: http://www.herbcottage.com.au/dried-red-clover.html
Also finding here: http://www.signatureherbals.com.au/products/Red-Clover-Flowers-%28Organic%29-100grams-%28Germany%29.html
Don't know if growing your own is an option, but if so, I did come across some seed sources:
You might also want to try our forum -- we have women from Australia and New Zealand that post there, so they may have some ideas on good sources.
blessings,
Kim
