Hello,
My name is R and I am writing for my mother, S who is 58 years old and has been living a very healthy lifestyle for over 25 years. She eats a very balanced natural diet, and weekly exercise. Yet, she gets severe migraines, over and over again. She has gone to chiropractors, massage, perscription meds, allergy diet, etc. There are only two things that we know work: Avoidance of grains (of all kinds) and progesterone creme. These two, although havent cured her or aliviated the severity, help her by legnthening the time between the next migraine. I know that Susan speaks of avoiding progesterone creme causing cancer, however the creme helps her avoid the meds, which have severe side effects. These migraines started after menopause was over. Do you have any advise as to what she can do. She will do the work shes very determined to get rid of this issue!
Thanks so much for taking the time,
R and S.
Hello!
Please read this article from Susun on Headaches/Migraines: http://www.menopause-metamorphosis.com/An_Excerpt-112-headaches_migranes.htm
I have seen the use of the Skullcap/Hypericum combo work for some when nothing else would. So much so that is enough for them to catch it in time and not have the migraines any more.
If the cream seems to be working, but she might consider stopping if there is another alternative, she can try these until she feels comfortable that they are sufficient, then work her way off the cream.
Blessings,
Karen Joy
