Q:. Hello Susun,
I am 48 years old and apparently I am going through menopause. I have had ringing in the ears for one year, I guess I don't need to explain the suffering. I have been checked by physicians to no avail. I feel the tinnitus is an extension of other symptoms, which are gone now, due to years of overwork and stress.
Can you please help me?
Thanking you in advance,
Blessings,
E.
A: Hello E., thank you for writing. Tinnitus is a complaint I have heard many times from those going through menopause.
First, I would like to invite you to a few community resources we have that might help you find some ideas - our online forum, where people from around the world come to share life experiences and questions, and two new email groups: Herbal Healing and Wise Woman.
You can view a few of our past threads on the topic at our online forum

Any information on Tinitus???
Tinnitus
Susun Weed also mentions Violet flower oil placed in the ears for tinnitus in her book Healing Wise.
I understand inner ear debris to be a cause of tinnitus. Some have mentioned this can come from inflammation in the eustachian tube - Nasal/ear ecosystems - the Wise Woman way and middle ear/eustachian tubes health.
Please let me know if I can help further.
Blessings,
Karen Joy
