Chickweed

Hello Susun,

I've met you though its been a while. Your books are my bibles, Thank You!

Question please...I want to juice chickweed. I have a hand crank...can I save the juice in vodka...can I make an aperitif with the juice? Will it save it over the long...or is it short lived due to being extracted?
I can enjoy her fresh now yet long to keep her with me!

Thank you for your help... can't find anything in your books at this moment.

Hello Lizbeth,

No need to juice it … Whole chickweed steeped in vodka makes for a great tincture once the fresh plant can no longer be found…. Also dried chickweed can be used for infusions….
