Hello Dear Susun!,
I know you are very busy but I wondered if you could answer this quick question. I have had Type 2 Diabetes since I was 40. I am now 55. Last week, I purchased a bottle of Mulberry Extract Capsules and I have noticed that my sugars have been a bit lower after taking one a day. I just wondered if you have ever heard of these capsules and if they are safe.
You know medical doctors---they never want to hear about natural healing. Ha Ha! Thank you, my dear. Say Hi to Justine and Monica Jean!
Sincerely,
Megan
Megan, hello!
Susun does not recommend using herbs in a capsule form - they are often unreliable, of poor quality and prone to causing side effects far more than using herbs in a whole form such as infusions, tinctures, vinegars, etc. So ... Susun would tell you to stop with them... Are you drinking herbal infusions? If not, the first thing would be do start with them - so easy to add to our diet and low costs ... nettle infusions especially recommended as they help with stabilizing blood sugar levels: http://nourishingherbalinfusions.com/
Cinnamon has been shown to prove helpful with diabetes - perhaps looking into incorporating some cinnamon tea into your diet. You can read a bit about that here:

Burdock and dandelion -- but again, Susun would say not to use in a capsule, look into tinctures, herbal vinegars ... I would highly recommend Susun's free online course, Nourishing Herbal Infusions -- it goes into more detail on the making and use of herbs in these forms, diet, etc.
