Hi,
I regularly drink oat straw and nettles. Now I am thinking of making an infusion of Alfalfa and Gingko. I am interested in your thoughts on this combination.
Any help would be appreciated,
Bill
Hello Bill,
We only use nourishing herbs to make infusions with. Gingko is most effective in tincture form. The only thing I have used alfalfa for is fertilizing my plants.
Here is a article Susun wrote on nourishing and tonifying herbs http://www.susunweed.com/herbal_ezine/September08/anti-cancer.htm . I consider gingko to be tonifying. The article also has a list of herbs appropriate for infusions. We also never mix herbs for infusion unless it is for flavor, like a pinch of mint in the red clover to make it taste less tannic.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any more questions.
blessings,
Kim
