Cream in Infusions

Hi Susun...can you please tell me, will added cream nullify benefits nettle tea.
For me the cream helps with taste, but I don't want the nettle benefits to be hampered in any way.
And would your answer apply to all herbal infusions and decoctions?

Hello!

Not a problem at all to add cream to the nettle infusion… People will add milk, honey, salt, miso, etc. You can make the infusions and add to a smoothie, etc. Try them hot or cold…

Herbs for HiV

Hey, Susun.
I am wondering if you have any info or experience with HIV Meds and herbs.
I have a client who has just started HIV Rx Stribild and he likes to use tinctured skullcap or valerian for help with sleep at night. We feel good about his daily nettle infusion, but he is not sure about the skullcap and valerian.
He used to use ashwagandha in caps for an adaptogen and echinacea prn in tincure form. He still feels he will use the echinacea, but isn't sure about the ashwagandha.
If you can give me some guidance on this, I would appreciate it.

Susun doesn't recommend herbs in capsule forms ... tinctures, yes... If he is feeling moved not to continue, then that is probably what is best for him... A particular reason he doesn't want to use them? Does he want something else? Nettle infusions are definitely good ... If you wanted to ask about general protocol for HIV, then you may want to call into Susun's free health hotline... But in regards to his specific situation, Susun prefers to converse directly with the person rather than 2nd hand. He of course, is welcome to call in as well...
