If you are unable to harvest yourself or find a local supplier, you can try some online sources such as Mountain Rose Herbals, and Frontier... They often have dried roots -- this works well for tinctures, unfortunately fresh is best for other preparations. 

If you want to try growing your own, Richters is an excellent source.

 

Another option would be to ask at our online forum. It was offline for a while and is beginning again, so traffic is just starting back up. We have a room dedicated to trading/selling, so it would be a good place to ask...
