Must have seen wise woman in mid 70's or perhaps on Kauai around 2006. Nice to see that You are still active.
Went through lung and throat preps and was seeking a recipe to restore health of my life partner after acid reflux infected lower throat and upper lung lobes over 12 years of GERD. She just had hiatal hernia surgery which has much improved her breathing. So I am working to build a healing strategy to effect restoration of the injured body parts. Any suggestions???
Patrick
Hello Patrick,
Slippery elm is the first thing to come to mind - you can mixed the powered herb with honey into balls which are easy to store ...

Also comfrey leaf infusions: http://nourishingherbalinfusions.com/Comfrey.html
Linden infusions would be nice as well. Mullein milk supports and build lung health. This is where you make an infusion of the mullein leaf and add it half and half with whole milk, preferably raw -- you can gently warm it and add sweetener to taste if you'd like.
Not sure if this is applicable or not but here is an article of Susun's in regards to lung health:

There is a nice soup recipe at end as well.
It would be great if perhaps your partner can call in during Susun's weekly health hotline -- that way Susun can talk with her directly and we can get more detail. It's quite hard to do second hand consults... but at least those two things mentioned above can be both healing and soothing to the areas you mention...
Susun offers her free health hotline each Tuesday evening from 7:30-9:30pm Eastern and takes questions until 9pm. Or email with more details....
