Hello, After I have made a linden infusion (quart jar, 1 oz. herb plus boiling water, steeped over night) and a comfrey infusion the next night, strained them and consumed them on two separate days, I was a little confused how to prepare the second infusion of both. I saved the strained leaves and added 2 cups of water and brought this to a boil and then steeped for 4 hours for each one. Is this correct? Should I combine these strained leaves making a comfrey/linden second infusion or just keep them separate like I do. My schedule for remineralizing my body with infusions is Monday, nettle; Tuesday, oat straw; Wednesday, red clover; Thursday, comfrey; Friday, linden; Saturday, comfrey 2nd infusion, Sunday, linden 2nd infusion. I keep the strained leaves in the fridge until I make the 2nd infusion. Please correct this so I can get the greatest benefit from this program.
Many thanks.
Sincerely, Audrey
Hi Audrey,
Yes the preparation for the second batch is correct -- only thing, linden is an exception with amount -- other nourishing infusions such as the comfrey is one oz. to a quart jar, but Susun prepares linden with 1/2 oz. per quart ... Susun recommends keeping them separate and just rotating around as you are currently doing.
blessings,
Kim
