Chickweed for Fibroids

Hello Susun,

Today I learned of your Website and your knowledge on women's health.  I was told that Chickweed is very helpful for shrinking/disolving fibroids.  I have three fibroids, my largest was the size of a tangerine.  It recently grew in size in October of 2011 and is now about 6"x6" x7".  Today I purchased some Chickweed tincture and was told to take 1/2 a dropper 2-3 times a day. 

Will this shrink my fibroid and if so, do you know how long it could take?  I'm also wondering if there is something else that I could be taking with it to increase the process.  I'm terrified of surgery and I'm 46 years old and I know that in a few years I will be going into menopause it they will disappear.  Any help or suggestions that you can provider is greatly appreciated.

Susun has an article on fibroids that would be a good place to start - there are a number of options, vitex tincture is often recommended, use of warm castor oil packs over the area to help with pain and for shrinkage. Dissolving Recurring Cysts

Can you suggest anything I can use to heal a cyst/boil?  Over a year ago I had a cyst that my dermatologist burst open to get to the white stuff inside (very close to my breast) it left a huge opening and she says not to worry about it.  It healed horribly with 2 brown spots and severe itching.  

I went back to her and she says to leave it alone so I have gone to 3 other dermatologist and the last doctor was a plastic surgeon that suggests cutting it open (he says the cyst is still there) and then it will leave a scar.  Right now it has gone from a flat bruised to a very high raised bruised and still growing and itching.  So I know I have to do something about it.  I was wondering if there are any herbs that I can use to heal this instead of getting it cut open.

Some options you could try would be chickweed tincture taken internally - this is recommended for cysts, but usually takes time - could be a couple of months to over a year for it work completely work ... Castor oil packs over the area are excellent for dissolving of lumps/cysts - best to do daily if you can.

Perhaps massaging over area with some herbal infused oils, first that come to mind would be red clover oil and violet oil as both of these are good for dissolving. You can also drink the infusions of the dried red clover flowers and violet leaves as well...

Another herb to use would be plantain - Susun recommends using the fresh leaf as a poultice or massaging over area with an infused oil to help in reducing cysts, heal skin and connective tissues, stop itching and for prevention of scars.
