Just found out half C.'s class is out - including the teacher! - with whooping cough. She's been vaccinated but turns out so have some of these kids. Anyway, I'm giving her echinacea tincture every day to try and boost her immune system a bit further - and us too - but do you think there's anything else I can be doing to help protect her/us?
Whooping cough is a bacterial infection, so plenty of rest, good nutrition, low stress environment, washing hands frequently, not touching eyes with hands, plenty of nourishing herbal infusion, and lots of fun…here is an excellent article by Susun for you: http://www.susunweed.com/herbal_ezine/june03/herbalmedicine.htm
