Dear Dr. Lani,
Thank you for allowing me to listen to your seminar with Susn Weed. I learned a lot and was very inspired because I was diagnosed with osteoporosis.
I also suffer from ulcertive colitis and I was wondering if I may have parasites. I read Hulda Clark's book "Cure for all Cancers" years ago and I reread parts of it again recently.
I was wondering what your opinion is of taking the herbs : Black Walnut Tincture, Woodworm and Cloves.
Do you think it would make the colitis worse?
I know that you cannot give me medical advise. But would you use the herbs listed above to kill parasites if you had ulcerative colitis?
Thank you in advance for any help in this matter.
Blessings,
Hello,
Dr. Lani forwarded your email to us at Susun Weed's. First off, we are glad that you found inspiration with Susun's seminar. If you haven't begun drinking herbal infusions, it would be the number one place to start in overall good health and helping with osteoporosis.
For the ulcertive colitis, I will pass along a few ideas along with links for further reading. One of the best ways to ease symptoms and facilitate healing are the plants in the Mallows family. These include such plants as hibiscus, Rose-of-Sharon and hollyhocks.
Another ally that many women are not aware of is seaweed. This wonderful plant is helpful in many areas and should be part of our regular diet.
From Susun:"SEAWEED IS A GUT GREASER
Seaweed provides a multitude of gifts to the digestive system: soothing, disinfecting, and nourishing distressed surfaces, helping out with the metabolism of lipids, and maintaining a healthy balance of digestive yeasts and bacteria in the intestines.
Seaweed is an exceptional ally to the wise woman healing those with gastric ulcers, duodenal ulcers, ulcerated colon, colitis, constipation, watery stools, and other intestinal ills, thanks to its bio-available nourishment, high algin content, mucilaginous fiber, and rhythmical resonation."
Other things to help keep everything in balance would be eating plenty of plain, organic yogurt with live cultures and essential fatty acids. Eating fatty fish such as salmon, sardines, plenty of whole grains and avoiding white flour and sugar.
The parasite thing can be tricky. Certainly the herbs you mentioned can be used in helping to get rid of them, but there certainly is a school of thought that parasites to some degree may be a needed thing. We need to be extremely careful about trying to "clean out" our bodies and upset the natural balance. Parasites are part of our environment and if we try to make ourselves too clean, our immune systems turn on us, resulting in such conditions like the ulcerative colitis, rheumatoid arthritis, etc.
