Susun,
I have recovered from Cushing’s disease. I had osteoporosis during the illness. A bone density scan showed I had the skeleton of a 60 year old when I was only 30. My chiro is scared to apply normal pressure to adjust my spine and I’m wondering which emulsions will recalcify my bones and bring me back to balance where I need to be. I have been drinking ionized, alkalized water for 3 years and drink emulsions regularly like nettle and chamomile and mint and valerian and red clover and redbush. I never thought about doing anything consciously to help my skeletal system. Can you advise?
Kind regards,
Hello,
Bones respond well to resistance…meaning if you begin to exercise gently at first, and then more vigorously over time, you will help to strengthen your skeletal system. Regular walking and swimming would be good gentle exercise, in addition, weight resistance exercise is essential, even if you do this at home with simple weights, better if done in a gym with a full selection of machines to be used for bone and muscle health. Of course, eating sufficient amounts of high quality proteins including yogurt and meat, and plenty of well cooked green vegetables are important. Bone broths are very nourishing as well. Nourishing herbal infusion of oatstraw and comfrey leaf would be an excellent addition to a regular regime.

Of course, it is advised to avoid or eliminate from the diet all artificial sweeteners, sodas, refined foods such as white sugar and white flour, hydrogenated fats, coffee, and other non-nourishing substances.
A possible problem with treated water is that the natural minerals can be stripped out. Not sure that is happening with your water, but it might help to get it tested, before and after your water treatment system.
Susun is unable to answer email questions as she is devoting her time to her forthcoming book, “Down There, reproductive health for women and men” due out soon. She has just started offering telephone consultations. Qigong for bone health is helpful. Health Concerns formula Biostrong is also useful. Working out on a vibration machine.
