For what it's worth... I have lupus, and have been told to keep OUT of the sun! However I get very mild sunlight early in the morning when I can. Dappled and gentle. It seems to keep the Vit D levels at a fair level, and doesn't cause any flares. Linden flowers are fantastic, and make a lovely relaxing drink.

Depending on where you live, finding an herbalist for a face-to-face consultation would be very good. There is so much herbalists can learn from seeing you in person. In any case, the recommendations for an anti-inflammatory approach are right on!
