Hello Susun :)

I greatly admire your knowledge, and was wondering if you could please help me with proportions for making a tincture? I would like to make a Queen Anne's Lace tincture, and was wondering if you had any suggestions for which parts of the plant or alcohol percentage I should use? Thank you, and keep up the good work.

Usually you see flowers and/or seeds tinctured as use for herbal contraceptive… although it seems that results are higher if the seeds are just chewed rather than the tincture on its own. Susun always uses 100 proof vodka for tinctures – no particular proportions are weighed out, fill the jar to the top with fresh plant material and cover with vodka… Some more details in Susun’s article linked below:
