Dar a Luz Honduras is looking for dedicated Doulas to volunteer in public hospitals (which serve the majority of poor women in Honduras) throughout the country. It would be a great opportunity to serve pregnant women in need of compassionate care. In the public hospitals in Honduras, women are not permitted any family members and are all kept in one room with little physical, emotional and informational support.
