Good morning,
I am trying to see if Susun could help me. I am 41 with 4 miscarriages in the past 3 years. 3 failed attempts at IVF. 2 cycles I developed cysts and one mini cycle my egg didn't fertilize. I have low ovarian reserve , high FSH and my specialist says I will be in menopause soon. I am devastated.
I have a 10 year old daughter with no issues at all. I have tried Naturopath ( tinctures and vitex), Chinese Medicine,Accupunture, low carb high protein diet, changed my diet, done every single supplement to try and improve egg quality.
My estrogen appears to be high. Could red clover help me? Can Susun help? No one else will help me now.
Thank you
Tami

Hello Tami,
I hope this email finds you well and I hope I can be of some help to you.
You can start by drinking nourishing herbal infusion. I will leave links to the six infusion Susun recommends. You will want to drink a quart of infusion a day with emphasis on red clover, drinking 3-4 quarts per week and alternating the other infusions in between.
"Red clover is the single best remedy for women over forty who want to conceive but can't -- even if there are medical reasons for not conceiving such blocked tubes, diabetes, ovarian cysts, internal scaring, endometriosis. There are many heart-warming success stories I could share about red clover! But suffice to say, drinking 2-4 cups of the infusion of the dried blossoms (neither tincture nor tea nor pills will work for this application) seems to do wonders for fertility, no matter what your age."
Also, chaste tree (Vitex agnus-castii) taken daily for at least 3 months had been shown to increase progesterone--the hormone of pregnancy--and luteinizing hormone--which promotes conception. Because it can lower prolactin levels, chaste tree is best discontinued during the last trimester of pregnancy. You will want to take a dropperful of the tincture 3-4 times a day. I see you said you have tried vitex, but I want to make sure you were taking enough for a long enough period of time.
There are also some nutritional things you can do in addition that will work well with these recommendations. Bone broth is an excellent way to increase nutrients pre conception. Recipes found here http://www.westonaprice.org/health-topics/broth-is-beautiful/ . Also do not use any seed or vegetable oil and replace with animal fats(butter, tallow), olive oil, coconut oil... Have a wide variety of well cooked vegetables and fruits, full fat plain yogurt (at least a quart a week), whole grains, wild fishes(salmon, sardines, herring, anchovies), organic chicken livers, pasture raised meats, raw milk if you can find it. I find fermented foods really help with all of the mineral absorption from the infusions, which is a key component to stabilizing your hormones for conception.
