I found your article online and found it so wonderfully informative!
I had been unsure about taking nettles because I read somewhere that it might prevent fertility.
I'm 40 now and have been trying to conceive a third child for four years now.. I recently took a pregnancy after an unusually late period and I find myself pregnant!
I wanted to start taking herbal supplement as soon as possible.
I will take the red raspberry leaf, nettles as well as Dandelions through out my pregnancy.
Do u have any suggestions where to buy these herbs?
Thank you so much!
Jessica
Hello Jessica,
Many congratulations on your pregnancy! Susun recommends focusing on
herbal infusions and whole foods while pregnant rather than any kind of
prenatal vitamin supplement... So, drink those infusions
:)
If you are unable to find the bulk herbs at a local health/herb store, there are a couple of online sources we recommend: Mountain Rose Herbs, Red
Moon Herbs, Frontier Co-Op and Catskill Mountain Herbals.
If you don't have it already, you might want to check out Susun's book Wise Woman Herbal for the Childbearing Year
- lots of great info there - articles/excerpts posted here for further info to help you along: http://childbearing-year.com/
blessings,
Kim
