You recommend raw milk cheese as a source of calcium for pregnant women. This goes against all advice to avoid raw milk cheeses during pregnancy. It leads to confusion unless you provide an explanation as to why you think it is safe for pregnancy...
Greetings,
Susun is a proponent of The Nourishing Traditions Diet as put forth by Sally Fallon, and based on research by Weston A Price. Raw milk and raw milk products have been much maligned, no doubt, but we feel it, along with egg yolks, animal fats, etc. are important building blocks for creating health. Certainly no food is without safety issues but whole fat, raw milk from grass fed animals is nutrionally superior than what is purchased in the grocery store. Many of us consumed raw milk and cheese products throughout pregnancy and feed it to our children. I am including some links that goes into the research and science behind the nutritional principals:
blessings,
