Please please please help me!
I am a 29 year old woman with PCOS.
I am currently taking Metformine 500mg 3 times a day as prescribed by my GP. However I have been doing an extreme amount of research on different type of herbs that can be taken to help me conceive I have been trying for 3 years! I now have regular periods about every 33 days but I don’t think im ovulating?
I have read that Dong Quai, Saw palmetto and Chromium are all good to take but iv read so much info my brain hurts.
I don’t drink or smoke and have lost 7 stone over the last 2 years!
Any advice would be more appreciated then you could ever imagine!
I will look forward to hearing from you
Love and peace.
A.
Dear A,
The single most effective thing you can do is to increase animal fat and eliminate seed oils from your diet.
Are you also drinking nourishing herbal infusions? http://www.susunweed.com/How_to_make_Infusions.htm
Red Raspberry leaf is excellent for uterine health, and nettles leaf in excellent for general health. Find info here:
"Brewed as a tea or as an infusion, raspberry is the best known, most widely used, and safest of all uterine and pregnancy tonic herbs. It contains fragrine, an alkaloid which gives tone to the muscles of the pelvic region, including the uterus itself. Most of the benefits ascribed to regular use of Raspberry tea through pregnancy are traced to the nourishing source of vitamins and minerals found in this plant and to the strengthening power of fragrine - an alkaloid which gives tone to the muscles of the pelvic region, including the uterus itself. Of special note are the rich concentration of vitamin C, the presence of vitamin E and the easily assimilated calcium and iron. Raspberry leaves also contain vitamins A and B complex and many minerals, including phosphorous and potassium." Susun Weed
