Amie Harper

I drank about 10 -12 cups of nettles per week during all 4 pregnancies and never had a problem. I used the dried leaves. Had no anemia. Had no varicoise veins. Felt great. of course this is anecdotal, but I still drink it every day to prevent allergies and eczema.

Yes, that is a 2 quart mason jar. If I'm using a 1 quart jar, I simply put 1 small hndfaul nettles and 1 of oat tops. Double that for a 2 quart jar. I never measure, but a standard measurement is 1 ounce herb to 1 quart water. I like to use less than this for daily tonic beverages though. Hope this helps and enjoy your nettles! Jen
