Kathryn Sisler considers herself a "wise woman in training", having been studying herbalism in earnest over the last several years. She had a few books and had been studying them and trying out different preparations, but she desperately wanted a teacher.
Frustrated in her studies because no one in her area was teaching classes, Kathryn ended up apprenticing with Corinna Wood, a teacher of the Wise Woman Tradition and former apprentice of Susun Weed's.
Since moving back to Wilmington, NC, Kathyrn has used her skills to bring awareness to her community through classes and founding a community garden in which to grow food and medicial herbal. Kathryn has been teaching classes for the past year and a half with great success in building a community of women.

How wonderful it is to see students that go on to teachers after being a student of Susun Weeds! I am also a student and I cant even begin to tell you the wonderful changes that have occured.
