The Great Canadian Tea Company
Each province votes on their tea of preference to be sold in the Great Canadian Tea Company. The tea would be sold in stained glass bottles as elected by the province, onestained glass design per each province. The tea would be sold with a cork in the bottle. Refunds for the glass bottle would be available.
Provincial Packages
Each province would elect a clothing design to represent their part of the country. Each package would contain elected clothing, sample foods and recipes, and music from their part of the country and books by provincial writers. The packages would be sold through gift shops selling each provincial package. This could be elaborated upon in various ways.

I think that almost everyone has a talent that they can turn into a small business. One of the suggestions that you made was about sewing! So many women (and men) can sew but I'm sure a lot of them didn't think that they could turn it into an actual business!
Now a days with people losing their jobs they may have talents and skills that they never thought could be turned into a business but this may be a perfect opportunity for them to try turning their skills into a business because that is what many successful people have already done!
Me, myself I do tarot and astrology readings in addition to being a writer and all three of these skills I love!

Wow, this proposal sounds amazing to me. I live in rural Nova Scotia. I have an adult son who is schizophrenic. Wouldn't I just love to help create a community like this! I need to explore this further and would love any help suggestions, advice etc.
We are an NDP riding and our member of parliament is the Minister for Agriculture. Wouldn't it be fantastic to see this kind of community created in East Hants.
