I am a doula, I work with women through out the childbearing year. I am interested in finding a plant/flower/herb that represents the power of women in this time of life. I am hoping to use it as a logo and so want it to also be beautiful, maybe purple. Any suggestions?

Congratulations to you and I wish you a healthy pregnancy and birth!
It is normal for the breasts to go through many changes during pregnancy and nursing. Pain and sensitivity is def. common. Some women find their breasts become super-sensitive to touch, a t shirt brushing against skin, etc. Things that normally wouldn't bother you become a source of irritation.
Take heart; it doesnt last forever. Esp. if you are able/decide to nurse, it is all worthwhile when you look down at your beautiful baby's face as you cradle him/her in your arms.
Bleesed Be and good luck!

Why not apple blossoms. They produce the fruit of wisdom. They do have a history of being linked to departed souls but you are helping those souls to renter the world. The have many magical properties and the blossoms are of the spring the time of life and rebirth. Not to mention they are quite lovely and calming to look at. Not quite purple thought. There is also violets they have great healing and love properties.
