There's a number you can call for mental health counseling....

Interesting view. Thank you. Poison Ivy is one of the plants I have taught my children and friends children about. Now I see the value you are mentioning about slowing down and being mindful in the woods. By the way, remember Jewel Weed. For every hurtful thing, nature provides a healing -- and Jewel Weed heals the Poison Ivy rash.

I, too, learned to respect poison ivy. I was also told not to attempt to remove it with a vengeance or it will return in the same way.
Not long ago a naturalist told me that growing nearby poison ivy is another plant which, when rubbed on poison ivy, heals the rash. It might be plantain but I'm not certain. Anyway, I pass it on in case you choose to check it out.
Isn't God great! Sometimes she gives us a cure in a common weed.
