I read your writings about the benefits of the herb comfrey symphytum uplandica x on your website and have tried to find that herb on those websites you recommended. However, it was not available at any of them.
The Herbal Healer Academy Inc. is listing it as comfrey leaf symphytum officinale, ground or cut/sifted, but not as comfrey leaf symphytum uplandica x.
It is also not listed as being wild crafted and/or organic”?
Would you please be so kind and let me know where I can find the high quality comfrey you are recommending for internal use?
Thank you very much.
All comfrey is labeled as officinale but the only comfrey that Susun has come across being grown for commercial use is uplandica. So, it seems we are looking at a case of mislabeling -- Susun has been trying for a number of years to get the labeling to be changed, but so far, they still just label everything officinale.
Only absolute way to be sure would be to grow your own ... but yes, everyone I know, including Susun will supplement if needed with commercial comfrey that is labeled officinale.
